About Me:

I have been teaching Hindustani Classical Music for more than 5 years now. I teach in English, Hindi and Assamese. I love to teach all age groups and it gives me immense happiness to see improvement in my students.

I am a vocalist and have been practicing Hindustani classical for 19 years now.
I have won 100+ competitions and won numerous awards.
I have completed my Bachelors in Music specializing in Hindustani Classical from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.
I am a certified All India Radio artist.
Taught more than 1,000 students.
I have been teaching at Urban Raga for 3 years now. I am currently handling 105 students.

For beginners and younger students, first I try to understand their vocal range and rhythmic sense and then I move on to some vocal exercises, which is the main foundation.
For the advanced students, I help them to improve their understanding of music and teach them how to enjoy music.
I also give recordings of the lessons.
Along with ragas I also teach semi-classical songs, bhajans, ghazals, and some popular Bollywood songs.
I follow the syllabus of Prayag Sangeet Samiti.
