About Me:
I have been teaching Hindustani classical & Light music for 10 years. I conduct my classes in English and Hindi. I enjoy teaching music across all age groups and love to see them grow as musicians.
- Teaches : Beginner to Advanced Students
- I am a trained Hindustani Classical Vocalist and a disciple of Vidushi Poornima Bhat Kulkarni of Kirana Gharana.
- I am a Sangeet Visharad from Bhatkhande University, Lucknow.
- Apart from classical, I also enjoy performing semi-classical forms like thumri, dadra, hori, bhajan, abhang and ghazal.
- I am also a composer-lyricist and have produced original songs in Hindi and regional languages.
- My aim as a teacher is to provide a strong foundation in classical music to the students.
- I believe in simplifying this traditional music form for a better understanding of my students.
- My course covers practical as well as theory lessons that give a broader understanding to the learners.
- I focus not only on teaching various ragas but on providing in-depth knowledge of each raga.
